Boadicea Merchant Company Ship "Bifrost"

BMCS Bifrost
The BMCS Bifrost looks like a long cylinder with small bulb at one end and a larger bulb at aft end (consider Discovery One from SO2001) Vessels would be clamped at different equal angles from the central core. {Any artists want to help me out?} In this case the fuel ships are slab configuration, so imagine the top picture with what would look like six fins sticking out at the forward clamping system clamped equal distance around the ship's axis. In the aft docking system, the two Courier/Escorts are clamped on port and starboard and two fuel ships dock dorsal and ventral to the main axis like small fins.

The crew of the two Courier/Escorts reconstitute to form the base crew for the BMCS Bifrost.

Current configuration has the vessel overloaded and the J-drive re-calibrated for J5 performance. The base hull of 975dt adds the modular portion of 7ea. Fuel Module ships (133.11tlCMcr.), & two 500dt Courier/Escorts; The Bifrost is set up for Jump-5 
          Fuel usage as follows: 
Aft tank supplies Power Plant fuel for 461hours duration. 
Jump fuel is distributed as follows:   
          In Aft section (560dt): The two Courier/Escorts provide 200dt (This reserves 100dt for each of the two Courier/Escorts to provide reaction mass allowing them to use full shields & 4G thrust for two hours (or even a quick jump-2) and 10dt for both vessels' pp.) and the two Fuel Module Ships docked provide 360dt.
          In Fore section (1127.5dt): Five Fuel Module Ships  provide 900dt and the on-board tank provides 250dt (27.5dt reserved for Jump fuel, with 9.2 refills for Main Power Plant-4,241.2hrs.) yielding 200dt jump fuel.


Maneuver performance reduced to Thrust = 1.

Load-out is 3,375dt.
