Preliminary notes for up-coming campaign

For this campaign, "UNESCO's War", the story begins in the Eridani-Prime System as Earth attempts to assert it's so called right to tax the people of this sovereign system.

This campaign will be using Mongoose Traveller, 2ed. rules, Cepheus Rules, and some house rules modifications. The Near Space map associated with the Cepheus Engine will be used initially.

Warp Drive Technology

This type of FTL drive is sometimes possible in a standard Traveller universe, but usually at very high tech. levels (like 17+).

Other aliens or other humans from alternate universes can sometimes develop this earlier (with all the attendant social ramifications). The following adaptation of this technology has been brought into the OTU by Prof. MacDougal via his time machine/probability ship.
